Cecily strong

Cecily Legler Strong, an American stand-up comic and actress, is famous for her performance as a member of the cast in 'Saturday Night Live.' Her professional career started with theatre however, she found herself drawn to comedy after taking an improv training course when she was nine years old. She was hoping to build a career as an actor but realized her passion was comedy, and shifted her attention on improv shows. The first time she performed was on cruise ships with members from Second City Conservatory, iO Chicago as well as other improv groups. Strong has continued to perform at popular events such as Chicago Sketch Fest. The Edinburgh Fringe Festival. New York Sketchfest. and Virgin Daiquiri. Virgin Daiquiri is an all female Improv troupe. She made it big when she joined 'Saturday Night Live. She hosted the Weekend Update segment with Seth Meyers in the beginning, then alongside Colin Jost. One of the most significant moments for Cecily in the show was the role she played in 'The Girl You'd Rather Not had a conversation with at a Party'. Her debut came as a film star in the same film, titled "How to make money from an Uterus".
