Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise, an American actress and writer best known for portraying Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in 1960s. In the 1950s, she began her career as an actress on stage in Bettle Davis' show Two's Company. Then, she appeared on Broadway in a variety of shows until the year 1957, in which Li'l abner was big in the National Theatre. In 1957, she also made her debut album called It's time for Tina. Her debut appearance into Hollywood was as Griselda on God's Little Acre which was a 1958 drama. It received wide applause. Louise won the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the year category. In New York, Louise enrolled in Actors Studio and began her relationship and friendship with Lee Strasberg. She signed on with CBS in 1964, to play Ginger Grant. Louise was a success in Hollywood as well as Broadway, playing somber characters that reflected her reputation as a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series also featured her for her role as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although over the past few years, she also has made an impact as a successful director in various well-known television shows such as Supernatural as well as The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex on the 28th of August, 1965 and her family moved to Toronto at the age of three which is where she spent the rest of growing up and in adolescence. Following her selection for the role as Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997. She is a resident of Vancouver ever for the last ten years.
